Jade Cottage
Volcano, Hawaii

A comfortable one-bedroom residence set into a tight forested site. The building's placement maximizes light and views in the main living area and covered lanai. A section of the floor was reinforced to support a pool table. Doug fir framing and doors are accented with darker Sapele trim.
